Wick Harbour in N. Scotland is making a serious move to attract leisure boats. Around June they will have their first pontoon in place to host the Moray Firth Flotilla. They then have plans to install a 70 berth marina facility for 2008.
This is all a serious undertaking for the new Harbour Authority to regenerate the harbour and seen as a big risk to many in the town.
If anyone out there will be attracted to visit by the new proposals then an email to the HM - malcolm.bremner@wickharbour.co.uk will genuinely help them in securing funding as providing evidence of justification and this would be greatly appreciated.
