Why is it I'm sat looking out of my office window into brilliant sunshine planning the easter cruise feeling all summery, until I looked at the longterm weather forecast only to see it's going down hill for the weekend!!

It's just not fair, tried to persuade boss to close today for Easter to make the most of the weather!

Unfortunately I cannot repeat his reply!

Maybe a sudden illness is required, has anyone got any convincing ailment which I could use, nothing too terminal though I've got to come back Wednesday!

I know what you mean. However, being my own boss I've switched the phones to the mobile and am heading out onto the briny now. Mind you, I've got to get the boat back in the water first and as I've just changed the seacocks, ensure the skin fittings are still OK! Other wise I could be in a submersible.

<font color=blue>Sods Law mate. I was taking my boat to Henley tomorrow for the Easter. Now I'm staying here, The Upper Thames M.Y.C. are rallying here anyways so I may as well save a pint or two of diesel and stay here. Obergruppenfuhrer Eileen has had the marquee erected so I can sit in there like a big fat bhudda and watch everyone else moor up.
