Why is it slow Kim?

I've a broadband connection and generally the sites here are quick but in the last few days some pages take minutes to download - it may be my imagination but are all the slow ones prefaced by 'ad.uk.doubleclick/net' or something similar?

You're right. You need something to scrub these off. Ad-watch or ad-aware from lavasoft. Webwasher or even the latest Norton systemworks will stop them.
