Why has my name changed ?

Haven't posted here for a while and when I just did the system changed my screen name. I used to be Petrolia but now it is calling me by my name.

It seems I can edit anything but the name that appears on posts.

Don't like this new software !!

Now be calm, just take a few deep breaths and you will feel better. The name business is, as you correctly assumed down to the new software, before the 'old' system could deal with 'Aliases' but the new system only has the nounce to use one name. So what ever you registered as is what you are now called, this did cause some upset at first, but if you email or PM Dan he will change it for you, hopefully! I say this because like yourself I registered with my given name, and there are possible security issues with that, so I prefer to use a 'nom de plume' and I can understand why you want to do also. So email/Pm Dan (dan_foley@ipcmedia.com) and put your case.

I'm glad u posted this as i was wondering the same.
I used to be Gilly1 and would like that back.
