I am getting too old for this, especially as we were bowling along off Felixstowe at the time.

Maybe you had a hot chick on board? That usually has me volunteering for all sorts of things I wouldn't dream of doing in normal circs /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

<<<So give us the story why was a elderly gent swinging on a piece of string !! >>>

By the time i had got up there, I had completely forgotten, so I took some photos instead. I hope they are nice.

No chicks, just a few old Walruses without a shower token between them.

Don't know but I would be careful about trusting the bosuns chair after a post a few months back where someone had the chair rip while they were at the top of the mast - fortunately they had a reserve harness.

Because you were the most pissed probably /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sounds like you had a great weekend.

Here is one from the opposite direction....

The chair was actually not comfortable as it had a tendency to tip forward, putting pressure on the thigh straps. Prefer my own one.

Evita - our designated masthead crew - refers to the bosuns chair as the "wedgie suit". /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Rather her than me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hence, whenever possible, I borrow Roger's one.

As a lot of the saily things done this weekend were first's for me there was no way i was volunteering then, now or in the foreseeable future /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

thank goodness for experience crew, who can deal with rudders that have fallen off.... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Is this a new ensign?

"When 2 or more East Coast Scuttlebutters are gathered together, the shortest person present shall be flown from the starboard crosstrees...."
