Provide free wifi, that is. We rolled into Burdaart an hour ago, just a small village in the middle of nowhere, Friesland actually, and I just happened to turn my pad on and, hey presto, I can read all the drivel here to my heart's content. The weather looks a bit hearty later this week, so I expect to be stuck in Norderney for a while. My hopes of catching up with AliM seem to be getting delayed.

We went into Burdaart in May last year - one of the first yachts to use it, so the washing machine was free, but they hadn't got round to putting loo paper in the toilets! I hope you had a chance to visit the windmill.

Where are you now? We are making our rather slow way up the Lille Baelt - Aabenraa today (mainly distinguished by an excess of a's, but otherwise dull), but found some lovely anchorages in Als before that.

Just seen your post! I could have saved several pence on my text. We are in Laboe to weather tomorrow's gales, and moving on later to Burgstaaken where friends are recommissioning their boat this week. We might mosey up to the Orosund and I'd like to visit Ven again, so we might meet you coming from the north. I'd like to do the Rugen in a few weeks when it is warmer but before it gets too busy.

There is still no paper in Burdaard loos.
