When we moved to registration we had an original list of pre-registration forum users who wanted to be assigned IDs automatically. You were obviously one of them, hlb was another (there were about circa 300 or so). The list was fairly random - it was probably in the order that we cut and pasted your request emails. So, there you are, user no6. tcm got cold feer over his old ID and so he is a relative newcomer...

If that makes you nervous then get more scared again - users #1 and #2, and #4 and #5 have been culled at some point in the past (we regularly delete inactives) which just leaves davidphillips (#3) between you and the cliff edge :)

So just how inactive do you have to be before being exterminated? I play a bit of golf and go skiing once a year but I dont go to the gym or anything like that. Should we be doing press-ups and jogging on the spot whilst logged onto the forum?
I just hate this nanny state thing. Next thing, you'll be telling us that we have to eat 5 tomatoes before logging on

If he is a build number...

...then only being no6 out of the shop his owner has probably just about cured all of the faults, four years on. You, on the other hand, are likely to still be in the rectification/remanufacturing stage given that you have probably been relaunched a few times since 2001?

pah!

don't think so. Numbers in the high thousands would surely be the Latest Model with built-in everything, whereas Deleted User is unfortunately a series one with the weedy engines and/or old logo and as your post indicates, very close to being scrapped.

Re: pah!

Mmm, wee bit of # envy creeping in here methinks. #6 sounds a lot more important to me than #86754397 or whatever your eminently forgettable designation is

Can you ask the controller if they have any of those super dooper balls that whizz across the bay?? Have to be twin engined though and diesel - preferably made in Kidderminster too. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Wot, as in 6th most cleverest person on the forum, well actually 2nd cleverest now the others have been terminated. I'm dead chuffed about that. Thanks, Pauline
