Plenty of boats out there i am interested in, but one tiny pic on a lot of sites and 'this is a lovely boat for sale' as the description:rolleyes: Send them an email an no reply, from the amount i have sent i have had one reply.

Shame i cant advertise what i would like and let them come to me:D Some of the adverts are 2-4 months old, boat may be sold but seller has not informed the site, who knows. Is this common practice in the boating world? it certainly is not in the car world.

Not sure if I am anyway reflective of the market but my boat was for sale a couple of years ago.

I replied to all emails, many emails asked daft questions which were already answered here

http://www.icvideo.co.uk/felix.html

Eventually after answering the same questions from the same person several times I would just stop responding.

Some enquiries I didnt give much of a response to, in particular the enquires from

1742387@yaho

junk@hotmail

Perhaps you can use a proper email for enquires ?

I turned down two very good offers, one offer came in just after we had returned from CI after our flights home were cancelled due to volcanic ash.
It made us realise that boating holidays despite their unpredictability were still more relaxing than package deals

From a seller point of view GRP is currently as safe as any investment so why cash it in now ?

Seeing as my website is at the top of google I am reluctant to take it down so I continue to get 2-3 enquires a month (which I reply to), someone will catch me one day after a wet and windy weekend and get a real bargain !
