Who'se knicked my river?

I am wondering where my bit of river has gone.
Went to check the vessel at The Anglers mooring in Walton today and the level is the lowest I have ever seen it - including this last dry summer.
Most boats there are sitting on the bottom. I know it has not rained all that much (for November) lately but this is extraordinary.
Took a pic with flash but not god enough to post I'm afraid.

Checked again today... level back to near normal level at about 11am but dropped about 6" by teatime.

I have a rock near the boat I use as a reference point.

Level at sunbury today has been pretty constant at between 4 and 5 above HW. Not sure what happened yesterday.
