The weather isn't looking great ... but if we let that put us off we'll never get out there. ;)

For Moi its going to be Brodick, Lamlash-Bay then Troon ...... give us a shout if you see us with our fresh stock of drinks & song-sheets. :) (singing is not compulsory!) :p

Get close-ish & I'll take many photo's & some video (if you want) & send them to you ..... :D

Decided over dinner last night that we were going to sail this weekend. Hadn't looked at the weather forecast. Checked this morning; it's gonna be breezy! Probably a good thing that the non-sailing friend we invited can't make it :)

SWMBO advises that as the weather looks pants, it's finally time to look for a new kitchen - for the house :(

Though, we are hoping to get a quick couple of hours on the Forth tonight before the weekend's rain sets in.

Malin head CG just gave out a gale warning so I'm running for cover and will tuck myself up with a bottle and a book. Summer Solstice my big fat arse!

We only have a short hop to Bembridge planned, just to say we've been out, likewise will see what happens tomorrow. So frustrating.

Went on the Stugeron yesterday (feel like sh/t now :() but have to stay on board tonight for the start of next week's rally so will be glad of the stuff then! Weather looks like it's easing overnight and for the rest of the week :)

You are in for a very nice week weather wise!

PS. we bailed out early in the week. weatheronline.co.uk had the weather forecast since last weekend. Yesterday Chimet was gusting F8. No thanks not for me!

It's been blowing a hoolie through the Cyclades for over a week now but looking much quieter next week. The prediction of 'either too much or too little' seems to be holding true. The problem for us is not the amount of wind, as we are heading generally downwind, but where to stay when we arrive. Next island will be Amorgos, no really secure north-facing anchorages in 6 and 7 winds. So it looks like laundry today and move tomorrow.

Currently at Koufonisi, a magic little island.

We did Brighton to Port Solent on Friday. It was quite bracing.

Glad we chose Friday. not Saturday or Sunday.

Still on the boat now and she's lurching around like a good 'un and we're moored up in the marina.

:-)
