Just out of interest, anyone else here attending the TVR at Henley in late May?
I'm going... best 'do' of the year for Stinkies.

We'll be there as part of the Bray club, be nice to put a face the the name.
We provided the entertainment at the dance with the baby last year. Jakes turn this year!

Craig, the TVR (Thames Valley Ralley) is a regatta organised by five leading clubs.
Oxford Ditch Cruising Club
Bray Cruising Club
Harleyford Motor Yacht Club
Windsor Yacht Club
Bourne End Cruiser Club
This year we are lucky to have Bates Starcraft Club taking part as guests too (They are a good lot)
It is a massive event taking up almost a mile of river bank. There's all types of competitions, booze, breakfasts, entertainment of all sorts including a jumble where you can dispose of any old chandlery.
The atmosphere is superb, the venue cannot be faulted and in my book its the best Thames even of the year. To attend you need be a member of one of the clubs or come as a guest of a member. Can't remember the cost, about £35 a head which includes the mooring and dinner on two nights.

Fraid not this year.

Sailpast with 80 odd boats (we know your's is odd, Byron) sounds fun to be in and a nightmare for the organisers.

Hope the river is at normal levels for a change.

Will the scullers be on best behaviour?!!!!!!!!

Scared of the competition Mike? (teehee) There should be over 110 boats there this year. They don't have a sailpast excepting for the concours d'elagance one, us plastic boats got no chance this year with Bates Starcraft there.

You could always do a quick trip to St Kat's and see your usual scrubbers for a quick spruce up! Does her indoors know about them?
