If it weren\'t for a couple of factors...

... the weather we have now would be a permanent feature of the British Isles. Ignoring the features for one moment, we are unlucky (or lucky dependent on your view) to be at a latitude where the coreolis effect has the Atlantic delivering weather due to Earth spin that is cyclonic in nature and what we get is cyclone after cyclone etc...

The thing we need that delivers the "English summer" is a high jet stream that rips its way across Britain in summer (except for now that is) but is currently absent because it is 500 miles South of us. This jet stream then acts like a pressure cooker lid and allows something called th "Azores High" - an area of high pressure that develops from the Azores - to build its way towards, and then over Britain, giving settled weather.

Hey-Ho!

Hence the weather forecasters prediction of changeable weather , which means they haven't got a clue what's going to happen

Boody H Snelson, don't pretend to be a Weather Guru from the advice I last had from You!
Anyway I thought the Coreolis effect was a Maffioso term for turbulance!
IE," it's a gonna get rough iffa ya donna paya me for der next round , cabish"!
Jet streams, pressure cookers, cyclonics?
Cylonics = Tour De France., Pressure cookers = Heat = Jets = I,m out of here Morrocco bound!
Oh! bye the way any Deals going on in Marrocco?
