As we were headed up from Temple to Henley to make our weekly contribution to the nice mooring man in the spotter boat at Henley, with embarassing "happy Birthday" banners all over my lovely Birchwood (thanks SWMBO & Sons) got a firnedly wave from a fellow burgee flying forumite but did not get the boat name or make (memory of a goldfish :-) good to see another blue and yellow mouse, so who was it?

We passed a B25 last friday near Hambledon with a "Happy Birthday Fred" banner all over the front screens, don't think it was you as I'm sure I saw your boat moored up at Temple, might have been Brayman if it was Sunday.

And who was the other one

That beached some sort of Landing craft at the White Swan in Twickenham yesterday and scooped up a load of ladies.

Forbsie?

No, wasn't us, we didn't go that far down and none of the Ditch botas fly forum burgees other that you and I.

I was at Henley on foot on Saturday ... went the River and Rowing museum ( very good ) ...

Walked up to Marsh Lock , very busy , lockie packing them in a treat . Walked up a bit further into the fields and then got too hot so headed back to the R and R for lunch.

Haven't been to Henley for a bit , was disappointed to see that the antiques arcade was gone and the other big antiques place across the way has been replaced by Laura Ashley . The old Tudor place was still there though , so had a look around.

A nice day out though , saw lots of boats that we don't normally get to see at Teddington , met Mr Toad , didn't see any forum burgees though .

Tedders

"didn't see any forum burgees though"

You walked straight passed ours ( on the other side of the river ) and unusually it was out as the ODCC stayed with us on Friday eve. Did you see them going through Tedders on Monday morning?

Well , i could be forgiven for not noticing a tiny burgee on the other side of the river couldn't i ?

To be honest i was looking along the boats moored at Mill Meadows mainly ....

Didn't see any boats on monday morning , because i have a week off ...

Shame you missed us ( yes you can be forgiven ) If it was before about 11 - 11.30am Brayman was moored alongside us.
ODCC are coming back through Tedders next Monday - not sure what time - 6 boats.

We had happy birthday banners on the boat but with no name on them :-)

We did go back to Temple late evening for the night though. I will have to be more observant this week lol and try and remember the boat name.

Completely missed Pande and Brayman as we moored opposite the rowing club for lunch and the afternoon as well on Saturday. Its becoming a regular lunch spot for us since we moved to temple.

Hope to see you guys around this week as we head off today for our weeks hols and the weather (he prays, seems to be holding)

Think it was me...

Think it was me you are looking for.

Passed you when I was heading downstream on Saturday, I think it was, can't remember where abouts we were at the time though. Big white (aren't they all) Fairline with blue canopy and a forum flag right on the top.

Waved and got a wave back followed by several puzzled looks from you, which I seem to recall is a similar response to last time I waved at you!

Darren.

"wave back followed by several puzzled looks from you""

Yes we have waved at "NickCred" too to same mystifying looks. Mind you I am used to it.

What he really means is he was eying up any female crews as he passed and had tunnel vision as far as burgees were concerned!

Nope. I was there though, supporting the yard team - The Roman Baths, at the same time as supporting the bar, of course. ;o)
