Who supplies these fittings? Shallow-dome hex head nut, sort of...

I've got a few of these on my Fairline Targa 40, in a couple of different sizes. This particular one is 32mm across, the dome is about 5mm high, and the flanged bit on the bottom is about 8mm high. It has a neoprene washer.

I'm struggling to source replacements for these, not helped by the fact that I don't know how to correctly describe them. Anyone know (a) what these are actually called and (b) where I can buy some?

They look similair to ones on flybridge screen on my Searanger. They were made by Cooney Marine but I had to buy them from www.superyachtdoc.com

Their part number was SY1026 for a 19mm one but they do larger ones

That's very helpful, thanks. I've fired off an email to Cooney to ask them if they are the manufacturer (it would make sense, given that they are so local to Fairline).

I don't know who makes them but they're pretty common, not unique to Fairline, and often called "windscreen screws". EBY have them in tubs in their fit out shed. I have 1/2 doz of each size on board as spares including the 32mm but I'm just back in UK so cannot go and check/stockcount till next weekend. You're welcome to them, but how many do you need?

I also have some specials where I had the hex socket welded up/filled in and polished, so they are pure domes. On previous boats I have glued these on to hide screw holes now and again

What's that on your ceiling? An aircon unit?

Cooney replied to my email, apparently these are known as 'interscrews', and there's a helpful page on their website about them:

Unfortunately the 32mm is no longer made as domed, only as flat (changed a couple of years ago). And as you said, Superyachtdoc are the only authorised distributor for these in the UK.

All v helpful though - thanks for the lead.

Thanks for this. I don't know exactly how many I need yet, I'll have a count next time I'm down. I still owe you a couple of f-type connectors from last time - they are on board, I'll drop them round next time I see you.

... and no, not an aircon, it's a flush-mount extractor:

Works really well, and looks nice but you need to have decent void space for the ducting.
