Might as well stick with a monomaran if catamarans lean over like this?

I think that is a Gunboat. Built for people with more money than sense. Only a matter of time before one goes over.

The chances of a Privilege 495 going over, even when sailed by a nutter, are minimal.

Daggerboard gives it away - that's no cruising cat. Racing monohulls capsize as well, and they don't always come back up either - ask Tony Bullimore

But Cruising World chose it as boat of the year or somethin.

They would not choose an unsuitable design would they?

What stops a Priv495 from going over?

Big weight, relatively short mast and relatively small sail area. Would require stupidity, very big winds combined with very big waves.

Fools!

Wine glasses will still have lipstick on one side and so will the teeshirts!

Everyone knows cats only leave the anchorage to get some clean sea up the watermaker
