That was a high tide, but it has been that high many times before, it is nothing new

Whilst it doesn't appear to be affecting us much yet only an ostrich would call it scare-mongering. Try asking the residents of the Maldives.

The occasional exceptionally high tides we get, and their frequency, have nothing to do with rising sea levels anyway.
