We are on the beautiful Greek Island of Skiathos at the moment and these 2 are anchored in the bay. I was wondering if anyone knows much about them.

The one with the Heli looks kind of weird

A couple of years ago i bumped into a couple of crew member off those yachts. Theyre both owned by the same person. He doesnt like his main yacht cluttered up with toys (helicopters, boats, jet skis etc) so he has his support vessel (garcon) go a day or so ahead of the main yacht (ace) and set everything up.

Answer
A Lawyer plus two people how live in a tin shack on the Cayman Islands .
Those two own a few hundred Super Yachts .

They -all three and any other board members of the Co never set foot aboard either .

Garcon 4 Ace was in Barcelona a few weeks ago when we were there for the GP, Googled it after seeing it moored in Port Vell, yep, all info above seems correct, support vessel for Ace, although I don't know about the ownership trail... She def had lots of toys on that huge aft deck.

This is Blue Bird, as in the actual Blue Bird of Sir Malcolm Campbell. Blue Bird IV was built for Campbell to go treasure hunting in the Pacific but War came shortly after she was built and she was requisitioned and was at Dunkirk. She is now fully restored and is truly a thing of beauty

Hired a Rib today for a bit of fun and managed to get closer to them here a couple of better pics. They havn't moved far in the last 3 days

Funnily enough someone sent me a picture of those two in Kassandra Bay this morning and asked me about them. Owned by Samvel Karapetyan and registered the Marshall Islands. Yours to charter for €1.25M a week. I'll just look down the back of the sofa.

Yes, when She was re- furbed MBY or MBM did an article on Her
Truly a lovely Vessel, nice to see She is still about

the rib I hired was 130 euro for the day and we had fun with it how much more fun would you have for 1.25 million a week I wonder

I note they are STILL in Skiathos Anchorage, not an extremely exciting place to be.
So they pay a million plus, and end up in a boring place, wft?
I'd expect them to move about go to Koukounaries, then Skopelos Mama Mia beach, then other nice areas around the isles, not by the port for two days...
And I guess the toys are used to drive the ppl to the city for the nightlife.

I wonder if the helicopter pilot spends most of his time sitting scratching his arse with nowt to do if so what a waste of someone's time

I wonder if the helicopter pilot spends most of his time sitting scratching his arse with nowt to do if so what a waste of someone's time

There's an oversupply
So he thinks -how lucky he is
And the copter wants for Nowt - gadget wise

So on leave in the "prop rotor arms"
Over a pint he can say to his unemployed mate s ( who qualified together ) -and have huge Debts
How fab his new job is

A mate of mine has two hobbies
Boats n planes
Benetti classic 127 or something
Gulf Stream 4
You need two jet pilots
So he re -trained his co pilot ( cos he like d to fly it ) into a job on the the yacht
Pilot was pissed off shacked up in a airport hotel -while boss went boating
So he was happy to have 2 roles
Expect the same here
