Who operates the yacht moorings within Greenock Harbour.

I am looking at buying a bigger yacht but am facing very much higher marina fees as I will be going from about £1300 a year to about three times that for the boat I would like to buy.

I have looked at a swinging mooring as kept my previous boats on these for 40 years but just don't want to go back to worrying if the mooring was holding etc.

I noticed a number of yachts and motor cruisers in Greenock Harbour opposite Morrisons. (I am not talking about the new James Watt Marina) and would like to find out more about the charges and security,

Does anyone know who to contact (I assume it is Peel Port /Clyde Port)

As far as I know it's a deal that a group boat owners made with peel ports , they have a five year lease on them this being due to the failed marina attempt a few years ago .
