Who left the gates open?

A bit of news for you - Yesterday the marina gates on st helier marina got jammed open and all the water disappeared, except for a metre held in by the sill, apparantely not much major damage was done to any boats but the harbour staff are supplying divers tomorrow morning for people to check the damage. The reason it happened is something to do with a giant dredger in the main harbour which kicked up bits of rock which then jammed the gates, for the first time in 20 years of operation.
Harbours have been able to contact most of the 220 owners affected - just wondered if it affected any of you guys?

No but you can send a diver down to my boat in Albert Marina to have a look and scrape some weed off.

Our boat is in there. Thank god it's a good old hardy orkney, which apparently did dry out on the mud cause it is at the very back where it is shallower.
How about this though; there was a Predator 70 or 80 (bloody massive all the same) that was on it's side cause it was right against the eastern wall.
BUSTED!
I was not there to witness this but it looks like the harbours will be paying out big time.
