I met JJ at the YM stand, and NigeCh, Twister Ken and Vyv Cox in the Guinness stand at the London Boat show in January, I met Violetta and Marsha last summer, when we had a potter down river ensemble, and I met Ian Wright last Thursday and wesnt sailing with him on Saturday. That's all that I know!

There was a meet a year or so ago at the RNLI headquarters at Poole, attended by about 20 of us if I remember correctly. Maybe it's time to repeat it. I wonder if we could try Trinity House at Harwich?

I've sailed with Humperdinck and Tom Morris (a one-time poster on the board). I sailed with Saumur [who posted on the old-style SB] before I had even heard of this forum. I hope to sail with Violetta and meet some of the East coast mafiosi in September.

Ah yes, not to worry your reputation remains intact just so long as you keep denouncing s/p's, but as previously mentioned I am living in exile from 'rite siide 'o t' hills' (hlb country, but don't tell him). However I have learnt many traits of the natives here, main one being keeping WIP (wallet in pocket))

Well, I've never 'met' s/y Mirelle except on the net, but had the pleasure to have a beer with man behind That was in the 'non-sailing capital of the world', Beijing.

BTW, I'll be crossing the wake of s/y Sjöfröken in a couple of weeks with a folkboat.
