"Mighty Mouse" pontoon has been mentioned in Navwarns before ( 85/11 and 90/11)

Well, the ship's definitely the Mary Mouse, named after the wife of one of the marina directors apparently. But lots of people do end up saying "Mighty Mouse" instead, and I guess QHM's office is not immune.

Named named MARY MOUSE 2 after the directors´ wives Mary Deddyhoff and Joanna (Mouse) Dean.

I think it was the "Wild Mouse" - on Clarence Pier back in the heydays of Billy Mannings Funfair.

I've emailed them and asked for a location.

"Mighty Mouse Pontoon is at the northern section of Haslar Lake, the 2FG VERT light is at the southern end of the pontoon. The pontoon is probably better known for having the Mary Mouse 2 Restaurant berthed alongside."

Anyone ever heard it called that before or know the origin?

Used to confuse the hell out of me when I was on Harbour Womble Patrol until I remembered that we got free coffee on the Mary Mouse!
