There looks to be a good forecast for this Saturday to get to Cherbourg.

Will there be anyone else going across?

We plan to leave Portsmouth about 6 am, after listening to the shipping forecast.

Cherbourg

Hi David
thinking of Channel Isles but poss' Cherbourg starting Sat a.m. sometime.
We are up in Fareham lake and still debating time of departure.
Arrive on boat - Twister 28 - Fri evening and looking at the wind it may be on the nose for Ch. Isles direct, so Cherbourg in our thoughts.
We're a bit slower than you guys (except if you raced around the island this year ) but give us (Betty Dee) a call on CH16 if you go and we may see you there.

sounds like we won't be alone - planning to go saturday c 0430 from gosport to cherbourg so will keep an eye out - forecast looking good (ostara - dehler 34 )
