Hi
I own a Seamaster boat with a Ford / Wortham Blake marine engine and gearbox.
The engine is in fine condition and is recently repaired. The marine gearbox however does not work properly anymore. It seems after many years of service it simply is worn out.
My local mechanic says there are two options: either rebuild the inside of the housing with new parts (or used parts in good condition) or replace the marine gearbox all together by the same type.
Does anyone here either can supply spare parts for this marine gearbox or would be able to rebuild it themselves with new parts (or used parts in good condition)? Or - just as good - would anyone know of the same kind of gearbox that's for sale (and is in good condition)?
Pics of the gearbox to be dfound below.
Since I have a very difficult time finding the correct pieces and my boat is currently about 350 km from my home (it broke down while being on holiday) and help would be greatly appreciated. Could anyone maybe point me in the direction of someone who can?
Best regards
