you need to check the compatability of the a/f itself, not the colour. I would think you will need two coats+ of white over blue

I have just had my hull sand blasted to get rid of the red anti foul so that I can paint with white, I wasn't prepared to take a chance with it showing through.

I've painted white over red. The new coat tends to soften the old and there can be a little colour bleed rather than actually showing through.

In my experience I would stick with your blue, as white seems to attract more fouling, and quickly goes 'off colour' especially around the waterline.

Depending on the brands, you'll probably need an undercoat anyway which will help stop the colours blending. But I do agree that white can look great when fresh and horrid when fouled.

Besides, antifouling is sooo last year..... :)

We had white on our previous boat, looked great on the hard made the hull look very big and even a deeper vee than it was
After a few weeks started to show scum marks along the water line
After 3 months looked terrible, once on the plan, brown scum marks in photos not good and made the boat look unloved
When it wasn't, go with a dark colour

Many boats, particularly in warmer climes, have darker antifouling beneath the water line where it is not visible and white on the upper surfaces, darker colours are believed to be more effective. This method gives you the best of both worlds.
