Hopefully someone can help me. I managed to acquire a whisker pole for our Sailing Yacht but am struggling to find a compatible mast cup/socket fitting for the end.
I made my previous whisker pole from two top quality Ash broomhandles joined by a close fitting S/S ferrule.
I mounted a top quality four screw deck eye at the right height on the mast.
I used 25mm S/S dinghy pole ends, the plungers opened by a line.
I adjusted the pole length so I could roll the sail away and leave the pole clipped in place, or change tack after rolling in the sail by pulling it out on the opposite tack.
You need a cup & bell fitting. Sparcraft make them, but the chances of you having the right one to fit their cup is low.
Most modern ones are tapered. Yours is parallel so possibly obsolete
If you want to stay with that type then a new matching pair would be the best move. However, I suspect it would be far cheaper to fit 2 rings to the mast & change the boom fitting to a standard end. If you want to raise & lower the mast end you would be in for a track & all the associated gear.
