Two rather nice craft arrived. A spendid Elegance of around 70ft with delivery crew,on its way up to London and a Fleming of the same size, sporting the most enormous Stars and Stripes.
Spoke to owners of Fleming, boat is over here on tour of EU for a year or two, first stop St Kats.
Wandered round for quick look and the attention to detail was impressive.
Where the fenders came over the rail a neat stitched leather contraption with a classy lambswool backing protected the boat from any unsightly chafing from ropes.
First time look at a Elegance,about six months old, a really timeless understated design,definately far away from the fashion statement, lets try sticking a few ugly odd shaped black windows in the hull this time round .
