Which Water Filter?

Morning Wise Ones,
We are looking for a good quality water filter. As permanent cruisers, we need one that is going to last and do a good job. If you know wot I mean.
Thanks for any advice that you can give on this subject.

I did a test for Sailing Today of the Nature Pure (USA) water filter. Very impressed. High quality manufacture, all the bits necessary including an extra faucet (for an electrically pumped system really). Fitting and changing the filter is easy and it gave drinking quality water throughout the season. I did not do a comparative test though so I can't rank it amongst the opposition

The Jabsco water filter is cheap and works well, but may not be available over there unless you get one sent out..

I have used the Jabsco filters for the last ten years or so - think they are brilliant!
