What size tyres do I need for my boat trailer and where might I get them from? The boat weighs 600 kg. The wheels are 4.5 J X 13 H2.

My manual say's I need 185/R13C - 8 ply rating, speed rating 94 with a maximum load rating of 670kg each at 64 psi. A side wall ratio isn't given.

I am unable to find tyres of exactly this spec'. The closest I can find are 185/70R13 93N or 185/70 R13C 106/104N. I appreciate that the higher load rating is safe enough but my experience with over-rated tyres on my van is a hard ride and I am worried that the boat and contents might be damaged.

The current tyres are 165 R13C with a 94/92 load rating but only 3 ply. Again, no side wall ratio; why is this? The trailer bounces about quite a lot and I recently got a puncture so am worried about their suitability.

Try' e tyres.' If you cannot find them amongst the listings, phone them and they will do their best to sort you. Will also come to your home/yard/place of work and fit. Have used in the past for my trailboat, now sold as have gone bigger and found them very helpful.

You don't say if you are in the UK.
However. the suggested tyres make little sense. As you can't tow a trailer at more than 60 MPH here the maximum speed rating could be lower if needs be.
What does the maximum load on the trailer plate say? You'd be wise to make sure the combined load rating of the tyres exceeds that, as plod like those sort of details to be right, even if the load you are carrying is lighter.
You are right about the softness of the ride. Try to find tyres with a lower ply count. 8 ply are usually for commercials and can be very harsh.
The default ratio is 85 if not referred to specifically. It makes little difference on a trailer as it's not driven and doesn't have a speedo drive. It'll ride a little lower unless you go up on tyre width.

But the specified tyre is available https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/Tyres/Nankang/Van-CW-25/185-R13C-100-98Q-8PR/R-173397 Other sites have them at much higher prices (£92!)
