Hidehi,

Just joined and hope to pick your brains, we trying to sell up and retire... planning next year to go traveling Europe in our elderly campervan for a few years, but got to thinking it would be nice to have a trailer sailor to give us something to do apart from sit in the sun eating and drinking:D.....

We have had a couple of boats in the past, our last was a Pegasus 800.

I'm after suggestions, as our Gross train weight only allows us a maximum of 730kg.......currently thinking a West Weight Potter 15 would suit..

Anyone done or doing the same?:)

Wayfarer would be lighter and therefore kinder in terms of MPG.
Would sail better too.
West wight potter does potter.
I suppose a steel lifting keel might be an advantage - small drascombe?
What is your budget?

Sorry chaps i seem to have two threads going on this subject:confused:.....please see my 730 kg trailer sailer thread:D

As for budget.....kinda depends on the sale of the house and the wife:D...

Edit..... to say I'm not selling the wife;)
