Which radar

I do not want to find fish or to plot my course electronically. Recommendations pleaase for the best standalone radar that will not require a 3rd mortgage.

Furuno 1623?

For £750, the Furuno 1623 is a good entry-level contender, and a cut above the basic JRC1000. If you want a bigger screen and a better radome, the Furuno 1715 at about £1250 might be worth a look.

I bought the Furuno. Canr remember the model number but it is the one up from their entry level model. Very happy with the perfomance of it. easy to use and doesnt use too much power. good screen quality compared to other manufacturers
