I will be painting the top sides soon and I need to make a decision on the type of paint to use. The Yacht is GRP 32 ft and i will be using the roller and brush. Has anyone tried JOTUN Hardtop XP two pack polyurethane.

Is enamel paint like the International Perfection better than the two pack polyurethane?

Just done my keelboat with this. For a first time use I am quite satisfied, especially considering it was a bit cold when painted. Better finish than toplac which I have used before; never used perfection. Seems quite a tough paint and I may just give a final rub down and another coat. The agents - Shepherd MArine are very helpful.Preparation is all.
Value for money is good.

I have tried both international perfection and jotun hardtop. International was easier to put on, I got an excellent finish with a closed cell foam roller and it lasted 5 years before some chalking. I never polished it and suspect that if I did it would last another 5.
I had to thin it to apply and sand between coats to flatten. I put 4 coats on to achieve good coverage over primer.
Jotun was a fraction of the cost! I started applying with roller but failed to get a satisfactory finish. Sanded flat and switched to spray. Needed to thin a lot to get any result. Inexperience in general did not help. Got a good finish in the end but felt I could have done with a guinea pig to perfect my technique.
Also I think Jotun is aimed and formulated for application by airless spray.
I think if I was going again I would use Jotun for cost, especially if its a big boat. I would thin it until I got a reasonable application with a roller and then assess the finish. I will be trying this later when the weather is warmer. I applied in October and got no chalking or any ill effects of cold weather.
If it was a smaller boat where cost may not be such an issue I might favour International but I shall know more later in the year.
PS I also used Jotun antifouling which worked out very well.
