Which new engine should I have (part 2)

Re: Dont unnerstand the deal

In support of Happy for the moment - just leave it for the time being. As he says, there are a number of forumites who know the story. H1 has asked for an opinion on engines, not the 3rd degree over why he wants it.

Re: Rubbish !

I think you missed something, PM Jimi for the answer /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

By the way, did you not get a PM this morning from me explaining everything?

Re: Rubbish !

Oops sorry if I missed something. I was just remembering your stated reasons for sudden change of nearly new boat:

"it will save having to re-anti foul the present one which is now getting on a bit and 6 months old, so by March would need re-done. I will also upgrade the engine to either the 4.3EFi or the D3 (if it is allowed) as that will save servicing costs on the present one. See there is method in it really, it just takes a bit of working out I will take my time over the next year to really decide what I need, even experienced boaters can't decide between a flybridge and a sportscruiser so what hope do I have at the moment? I don't want to make a £150k mistake thank you very much"

Re: Rubbish !

Hi jfm, I think you are being a bit silly now really. You haven't PM'd me for the answer, although I am sure I sent you a PM explaining the situation, and you haven't confirmed if you got it or not, so you will now have to wait and see what I am on about. Mostly everyone else knows and it is getting boring now so I won't be replying about anything in public except the engine. It is the engine I want to sort out at the moment, as the order has to be in ASAP for the building of the new boat to start by the end of this month. And yes the anti-foul is 6 months old and wearing off and would need to be re done, and yes the annual service would be due, so a new engine saves that, and I could go for a bigger boat now but I am not ready to make that decision yet, I need another year at least to work out what our needs are /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I hope this all makes sense now.
