I own a Rinker 212, (98) and my friends boss has just bought a Crownline 230ccr (2000)
Both cuddies.
He likes to say that everything he buys is better than his last or everyone elses.
So, just for a bit of fun, which would you prefer and why

I think I am right in saying the rinker 232 captiva is rinkers best selling boat - does that not say something !

I think you may be correct. As much as i'd love one,i just cant justify the cost of owning one but they are gorgeous .

I said to my friend that i'd ask you fella's for your opinions, and hopefully pee on his bonfire /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
All in good fun tho

To be honest I think they are probably much of a muchness - in so far as the difference between each probably comes down to personal preference on a few aspects of design.

Here in the UK at least, I think Rinker are more popular, better supported and more widely bought so in that sense the rinker is probably a better buy, if not a better boat.

Interesting to hear jezbanks. In the US it's Crownline that is more popular, at least in bowrider size boats. Rinker likely has the advantage in cruisers. Crownlines have always had a fancier finish than Rinker, so always sold for a higher price here. Although they are not nearly so dear as a Sea Ray.
