We've just had confirmation that we are moving cruising grounds from the West country to the Irish sea (probably permanently).
To save me trawling through masses of info, could anybody recommend a cruising portfolio?
Perhaps all the relevant Admiralty portfolios plus Clyde CC guides, plus Irish CC guides?

Any other recommendations or thoughts please.

If you're intending to go to the Isle of Man, I'd strongly recommend the Isle of Man Sailing Directions by the Manx Sailing and Cruising Club. Obtainable by post or on the Island. Try Google.

Make sure you get a chart for Strangford as it makes up over 25% of the coast. Then the CCC firth of Clyde, IOM and perhaps even N coast Ireland as far as Tory Island. I have recently been told that we should count Wales in as amazing sailing territory even though I have not yet been. If you cover those areas then you have some fantastic sailing with the west coast of Scotland available for prolonged cruises. Get all the CCC directions, they are excellent and they will encourage you to expand your territory beyond the Irish Sea.

If going anywhere near Anglesey, I would recommend the Anglesey Pilot, now published jointly by NWCC and Imray. I second the suggestion of the Isle of Man sailing Directions, I found them invaluable on my last visit.
