Hi,

As the title says I am interested in which IOS or Android navigation/chart apps have a "track" mode that will make it easier to keep on course irrespective of wind or currents.. Sort of like a forward perspective "follow the line" view..

Any of them do this?

I believe Marine Navigator does this, but not 100% certain.

Just checked?......if you mean a true course line, compass up, then M Navigator will do that.

I have found an example.. I mean something like this..

..but not just for the heading but for the actual target waypoint so it keeps you on a straight(ish) line to the destination..

In that case the Plan2Nav doesn't do that exactly. But you can tilt the chart and follow routes. Picture will give you an idea, but the boat will show up near middle of the screen.
