Which freshwater pump?

We are just about to live aboard and need to change the pump in the pressurised water system. Currently there is a very old leaking pump which definitely has to go. As well as two heads and a galley we want a decent shower and potentially a washing machine at a later date. The pipework also needs upgrading as there are bends everywhere and it's only 10mm but I am limited by an outlet of 15mm from the water tank.

I am wondering what type and size of pump to use.

Thanks

Don't have a recommendation on the specific pump, but I went through a phase of reading liveaboards' blogs, and the number of posts mentioning "rebuilding the fresh water pump" was enormous. So fit it somewhere easily accessible, and consider carrying a whole spare pump as well as the spare parts, so that you can quickly swap the pump and then rebuild the other at leisure.

Like a lot of yacht systems, they're designed for "summer weekends and a two-week cruise" use rather than 24/7.

I fitted one of those and was disappointed about how noisy it actually was. Also you will still need an accumulator tank to act as an expansion tank if you have a calorifier in the system, otherwise the pressure relief valve will continually blow as the water expands.

Sorry, dont recognise those problems.
