What filler do the panel suggest I use to fill a 2-3mm gap between hull (GRP) and rubbing strake (teak) ?

The rubbing strake is a replacement (a previous owner) which although screwed tight does not fit perfectly in places.

There may be a little flex in it

I had thought of using polysulphide mastic but I'm not sure if this is the best for a marine environment

Thanks

I used Lifecaulk during my refit.
Unlike Sikaflex 290 it is not a permanent fix, which means the job can be pulled apart in the distant future. Also unlike Sika it won't cure in the tube after ten minutes of opening... I am still using the same tube as when I started before Christmas. As well as black and white it comes in a mid-teak colour which is better for wood-on-wood or wood-on-anything-else.
Its a butyl compound of some sort.

I too was going to ask this question. Have refurbished the skylight hatch this winter. Its adapts to the cabin roof with two shaped pieces of timber which I've re-made. But its not all exact and needs some gaps filled. I wonder if its all that important what to use. there's so many variants available. Are there any NOT to use?
