As part of my quest to find the most perfect boat for my (our)needs (I am considering looking at an Aquador 28C but a bit worried about the single engine situation), and was wondering about the panel's view as to which cruiser had the most accessible engine(s).
I am looking at 4/6 berth - but mainly two occupants - not flybridge because of french canal air draft restrictions (3.5 meters) and with particularly good access to raw water filters which I believe to be a problem in the voyage to the Med. Length prob between 28 and 35 feet and not bothered whether sterndrives or shafts. Our current boat is 1992 Sealine 350 Statesman, and we would like to purchase newer - but probably not over £90K.
When not in joint use for hols or weekends would like to be able to operate single handed for fishing.
Looking forward to your opinions.
