Which ECU do i need?

Came with the boat but the ECU had been removed.

A forum member has offered to sell me one ~£170, would like to know its the right one. Does the price sound fair? I'm new to all this.

Its a bit 'grizzled' Is it still likely to work? Should i try and replace anything before i commission it again? Have some ss exhaust ordered and will be getting new fuel lines all being well. OR, should i send it straight to the great scrap heap in the sky?

I recently had my 3DLC in bits as it failed to start. I spoke to a person called Dave here http://sales.butlertechnik.com/checkout/cart/

They were friendly and helped me sort it. It may be worth giving them a call.

I doubt there will be much that can be done without an ecu?

I have just removed a customers D3 to replace with a new heater, I scrapped the body but the ECU is known good and complete with mount clip, markings 20 16 07 50 00 00 and 5HB 003 725-00. I don't keep Ebo parts generally but kept the known good control box and fuel pump. As for price I would not be looking for anywhere near £170. P.M. me if any use to you. Frankly I wouldn't go throwing too much money at a heater of that age though.
