Which diesel filter?

Any ideas on which filter fits this? The boats on a swing buoy so it would save me a trip if I was armed with the right one

Can't you give us a sensibly-sized photo?

From the postage-stamp I can see, it looks like the filter is clamped between the head and some kind of bowl, so probably a CAV type.

Looks like a CAV 296 or equivalent to me.

You can get pukka 296 filters from Rochester City Diesel on The Delce (assuming you are in Medway) only a few pence more than pattern filters and containing so much more filter paper...
