Which chartplotter now?

I was about to order a new chartplotter, Radar, VHF and fishfinder from Raymarine. I am worried about the guarantee if they go under. Which system should I consider ordering, Any good deals going now? Should I wait for the Raymarine fire sale? Brian

Whatever happens to the company their brand and products are too good to disappear, someone will snap them up if the company fails.

I would get a Raymarine by choice but having said that my boat came with a Furuno VX2 which is first class,

Don't worry about them, shareholders can change but a good "brand" name usually will never die. If that's the gear you want go ahead. Personally I prefer Garmin. The new Furuno NavNet 3D is also spectacular.

I use Raymarine and think their great but I have to say the new Garmin touch screens are worth a look!
