Which Chainsaw?

This bluidy Sharpie is driving me round the bend. I had it leaning vertically against the river wall last night to enable me to do a quick repair to the keel and re-seal up some seams. I got up at 5am to put it back in on the tide and it's still leaking!

Can anyone recommend a good and cheap chainsaw to put an end to this thorn in my side?

I chopped/smashed up my Mirror dinghy with the aid of an angle grinder and a sledge hammer. Very theraputic.

Most chainsaws are very noisy and worrisome. An electric black and deck is much quieter, and will get the job done pretty well. Take small bites at the boat rather than attempt to go clean through it in one go. But no chainsaw will beat the satisfaction of a Big Hammer - the really giant ones with pickaxe handle. Good exercise too. No more boat problems.

It was beyond help. I bought it from ebay, then spent over twice the purchase price on it trying to stop the leaks. It was rotten, had none of the sailing gear (not even a mast step), and I wouldn't have been happy even giving it away. Besides, I enjoyed smashing it up. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
