Which adhesive

Some of the sound proofing in the engine bay is working loose at its edges, what adhesive should I use in order to stick it back into place?

Spray contact adhesive would do the job, admirably. Easy and clean to use.

Any particular brand you recommend?

Use Evo Stick 528 as the spray glues dont tend to hold in the high temps of an engine room, or Vetus make washers so you can fix with self tappers as some sound proofing is just too heavy for glue.
