'Anybody see what I've done wrong?'

You've thrown the anchor round yer heid like throwin the hammer and instead of dropping in 3 metres sand it's landed on the shore

Re: Where\'s this?

No idea where it is (north coast or Orkney perhaps?), but what a striking location. Superb!

EDIT: Unless it's Garbh Eileach, in, errrmm, the Garvellachs?

Re: Where\'s this?

THat's all very well, I know you lot can all do it. I'm trying to find out how.

When I press the "Instant Mark-up: URL" I get two prompts, asking first for the http address of my link, which I entered, then I get asked for the web page I want. I presumed this to be the same and put in the same http: etc. again and the second bit came out scrambled as you can see. Do I really need to respond to both these prompts? If not, which do I use, if yes what goes where? Help!

Re: Where\'s this?

you put the url in the first prompt.

The second prompt is for the name you want to appear here
like web page, or picture , or click here etc etc

Re: Where\'s this?

You should put in the http address in the first prompt (the full adress with the www too) and then put in whatever text you want into the second prompt... you could just leave it as web page, or put in your own title, or if you put in the url again it should just display the url.

Does that help?

Re: Where\'s this?

Thanks for that, also BrendanS. I've also had a helpful PM from Machurley22 who points out that Photobucket provide the whole text string required in one of the boxes under the picture. I suspect I should have been using the Image prompt rather than URL although presumably you can use either if, unlike me, you know what you're doing...

I'm going to have another go - I'm determined to make this work!

Re: Where\'s this?

I'd ruled it out, but then thought there's that wee bay with the cottage in the northern island... Only ever anchored on Naoimh so wisnae sure. But what a billiant piccy.

Onywey, it's up north, disnae look like thon bit wi' the big cave (Smoo?), so maybe Orkney.

Anyone heard from Orion21 lately?

Right - I think I've got it. Thanks all. (And of course if it's right Preview shows the picture...) Doh!

Anyhow, after all this embarrassment, anyone know where it is?
