Just been on the phone to my liveaboard mate in the Crouch, and he is looking at barges and fishing boats aground at low water today, with the pontoon barely able to float an inflatable. He reckons the tide is up to 1.5m below prediction! Well, that would put a dent in your tidal height calcs for going across the Ray Sand. Reckon you could walk across it.
So who has got the huge surge in height if all the water is missing from the East Coast?
