Anyone got any idea why the Ranie Buoy is not there?
According to Swansea CG it is in Barry harbour at moment and was reported as 'missing' Saturday morning! Apparently there is a local Notice in force, but I have not been able to locate it (or the Ranie for that matter!!!).
Was an interesting navigation exercise yesterday _ "Just take us to the Ranie".................. Flat calm and 100% vis _ Helm "it's not there" _ Navigator "What do you mean..........OK, you're not as stupid as you look........"
Always worth relying on the old Mark 1 Eyeball !
