Where\'s the passion, where\'s the flair?
OK, hands up, I am not a Footie enthusiast in any way, shape or form. But I do like to feel I'm capable of rooting for my national side in whatever sport or endeavour.
I can't help noticing that, in spite of all the bloody red cross flags and car hooting and pubs with every inducement to watch the matches, I really don't detect a winning passion or flair where it really matters....on the bloody pitch.
What the hell is going on? If we truly have one of the best teams of players available what do we need to do to get them really believing in themselves and playing with passion and flair?
Maybe we should get Torville and Dean in as inspirationalists? At the moment I can't help feeling there's too much of the Henman effect.
