Where\'s it to?

Having left an old Medusa Buoy to stb the tom tom was probably not the best way to navigate to her mooring. Mudplugger was in the escort vehicle.

Re: Where\'s it to?

I guess the old Medusa to starboard is the one on the hard outside the Colne YC (at least I think it is Medusa!). Looks like the crossroads by the Black Boy pub at Frating Green on the way to Great Bromley.

If it is where I think you will probably pass Mrs Chellers front door!

I learnt to navigate by Pubs and Churches from my Mother! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Right road wrong crossroads, I thought it would be quite apt passing it. Thank goodness it is an agricultural vehicle.

Re: Where\'s it to?

Surely that's the Old Courthouse Inn at the bottom end of Great Bromley...

Oops, just read Flipper's answer. Flipper, the 'Black Boy' was renamed the 'Old Courthouse Inn' in the last few years. Indeed, if it is there, it's very much my stomping ground - I cycle past several times per week. Have never gone in to partake of their food though.

I am sure that I would have noticed being overtaken by a boat, if that had happened to me on one of my trips.

Re: Where\'s it to?

The Old Courthouse it may be now, BUT to LOCALS it was the Bromley 'Black Boy' for many years!! The change of the pub signage from a Black Boy to a Black Labrador to meet with our politically correct times, and now of course it is The Old Courthouse.
