Where would you sail if out of Zadar in croatia?

Which is a good direction/destination to head to if chartering out of Zadar Ctoatia in September?
I got a 40ft sun odyssey 2007 for €1300 for 1 week which is an excellent price, so including flights between 4 people total cost pp is €450. For nothing really, had to take it.
So what areas are good, and whats not? Ive never been to Croatia and would appreciate any tips in this area.

head north to the islands north of Kornati- all worth a visit and much less crowded than the islands to the south

Kornati and all points north - the further north you go, the less crowded it should be. But September should be no problem as far as crowds go. Avoid the marinas.

Great sailing around this area esp.the Kornati if you like to get away from the madding crowds BUT listen to the forecasts diligently for the word Bora and take shelter if one is forecast.

I spent a great 8 weeks there on a Jag 22 one summer in the 80s and the Bora blew twice. It was very nasty. Do your homework on its local effects and where to shelter.

Head sth 1st night anchor off the marina on murter flat calm 4 hour sail from zadar
next skradin again anchor off beautifull wooded hill just before marina great town visit water fall
Then if u like long sails sail all the way to vis full day safe harbour to anchor in
Then back towards hvar for i night anchor eithe right in the harbour bit swelly or off the islands offshore slightly
Then maybe 1 night a bit widernessy island of zirje the sail through the kornati islands to telesjlica dont stop or u will have to pay but worth seeing then back in to zadar

For nrth( not as pituresque)

Ist for a night ( islands name Ist)
Rab 2nd night
Osor on cres (foreget pag not pretty)
Maybe pula I liked it some dont
Rovinj beautiful place
Then leggit sth back to zadar

Ive no doubt the 1st option is better 4 a wk

beware the weather forecast if going to Lissa (Vis) - difficult to get to in a scirocco, impossible to get north in a bora. If you're only there for a week, it might be tempting fate a little!
