I have an interest in slipping a boat of 20m and about 50 tonnes somewhere between Sardinia and Gibraltar.

We need to slip, dry dock or floating dock her because her design might not allow a Travelhoist lift.

Does the community have any ideas where we might be succesful for about 3 weeks before April?

I appreciate that the location may not be ideal but Manoel island yacht Yard, Malta, has the facilities to deal with your boat. Once the Royal Navy Yard (many moons ago) they still had the old slipways in use for some big private motor yachts when I was there and they seemed to be quite used to dealing with larger vessels. No language problems and if you need to the airport is a quick taxi ride away.

La Ciotat - have dry docks for yachts. Also have cradle lifts, and 2000t travel lifts.
